I wish this were R-rated and still had its original title.
It just has failure written all over it.

Rebel Wilson, a producer on the film, and Jon Glickman, President of MGM Film Group, represented the appellant Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Pictures, Inc., and Joan Graves, Chairman of CARA, represented the rating board.share
About the Appeals process: The Classification and Rating Appeals Board is made up of members of the industry knowledgeable about the distribution and exhibition of motion pictures and whose sole mission is to maintain the integrity of the voluntary ratings system. A successful appeal requires a decisive two-thirds majority affirming that the rating is “clearly erroneous.” The overriding objective of the appeals process is to ensure that the rating system remains consistent and therefore credible. The Board reviews 800-900 films each year. Usually fewer than a dozen ratings a year are appealed. For more information about the CARA Appeals process, please visit www.filmratings.com and click on “Ratings” and the “Rating Rules” tab.
It was really not a solid PG-13 given the amount of sexualized vulgarity. Though it lacked the normal amount of hard core content to be a solid R... It really just highlights the need for a better rating system. If there was one for 15 or 16 and above that is where this one would realistically have fit in. But it really won't matter because the movie will be out of the theaters very soon... Only a shame the kid seeing it did just go get a copy of Dirty Rotten Scoundrels which is a far superior remake Bed Time Story which is simply too dated for most people to enjoy today given the pacing of films from the 60's.
shareBy original title you mean Bedtime Story?
Yes, Dirty Rotten Scoundrels is a remake of the 1964 film.
