DO NOT GO
Seriously. Do you really expect this to be good? If so, why? Don't give these studios the idea that making shit like this is worth their money.

shareThe problem with a movie like this is 2 things: 1st, how is this going to separate itself from the mass other Possession type of movies released in theatres or straight to streaming or DVD?? You just had not too long ago, Russel Crowe in "The POPE'S EXORCIST" along with the Conjuring Movies and the occasional Amityville Rip off and that in itself is not going to move the needle on this reboot.. 2nd, who knew Ellen Burstyn was even alive cause I sure didn't know this and honestly, who would?? What was the last movie she was in and she's 90 now?? If the studio is aiming for Ellen Burstyn to have her Big Bad Momma role like Jamie Lee Curtis in the terrible HALLOWEEN Legacy Trilogy, then you'll be disappointed most likely..
shareEvil Dead Rise, too.
shareYeah, I have no intention of seeing this film. In fact, one doesn't see how it could work in today's world. "The Exorcist" worked in my day because religion, Ouija boards, mysticism, the occult, tarot cards, stuff like that - it was believed in. My nieces and nephews, they don't believe in any of it. As they have said to me - "Man made nonsense". It would seem to me most of the youth of today would feel the same way. So why bother, now, with an Exorcist sequel???
shareThe youth today don't believe in possession but they believe women can be born into a mans body by mistake. Manmade nonsense indeed.
