I feel asleep on the first episode , seen a few more and its boring. cast is lame. lol I'm surprised it got pass the first season . would of canned this crap after the 3rd episode.

shareAgreed, it was kinda boring. Watched the first 4 episodes. Each episode had the same thing happen. Ship had some issue they had to rush to fix. Liked the characters, but they seemed held back by the "by-the-numbers" plot.
shareRewatching this for the first time now, it's actually better than I remember it. I love how left ambiguous the Dr. Rush character is, you want to root for him but at the same time he's keeping stuff to himself that would very likely benefit the crew.
shareI'm also rewatching this. I didn't watch it when it aired originally because I was angry (big time) that they cancelled Stargate: Atlantis for this.
Fast forward about ten years and I was over my mad. I found a copy in a video store I shop in and decided to buy the first season. I had to admit that it was good. Much darker than the other two series, but that was the point. I just decided to pull out the DVD and watch it again. I'm enjoying it even more.
Eli is my favorite. He's funny and a pleasure to watch. Dr. Rush keeps me guessing. There's an underlying sinister tone in his character. He's definitely not on the same page as his hapless ship mates.
I can't believe that I didn't realize there was a season two! I thought it ended after season one. I was disappointed at the abrupt cliffhanger ending. Now I'm eagerly looking forward to watching the second season.
