Chainsaw + Infected Arm = Cure?

Why did the guy in the blue jacket cut his own arm off with the chainsaw? The zombie's disease or whatever would already be in his bloodstream, plus the chainsaw was covered in zombie blood. And he'd probably orally and optically ingested lots of zombie blood and brain during the fight anyway!

This entire movie is an homage to several other zombie movies, especially and mostly to the Evil Dead series. Watch those and you will understand why most of the things in this movie happened.

I loled, when the zombie bit his dick, and he just chose to become a zombie instead of cutting it off :D
