African nations in the World Cup are terrible.
No African side has ever made it to semi-final. Only 3 have made it to a quarter final and of those 3, none of them made it more than once. There's no excuse for this mediocrity.

shareIt's possible. Maybe they get burned out playing too many games like clubs who are in the running for 4 trophies and go far. However, not going far in tournaments doesn't guarantee success. Tottenham is out of every competition by the end of January and they still struggle to finish top 4.
