So Qatar isn't Uber-Gay like the West? Good for them.

Only us soft western c*nts tolerate the current Stalin-like mass brainwashing- gay, gay, gay.

Qatar is also responsible for the deaths of 6,500 workers so I don't think you should look up to them for morals.

His TV told him so.

According to your links, 3 people are verified to have died while working to build stadiums. Everything else in there is speculation and hyperbole.

reply

Because of heat and extreme working conditions which are difficult to prove. Have you seen the people who were in charge of the operation? They were asked if there was going to be air conditioners in the stadium for the fans, and they said yes. It turns out it's only for people in the front row. They keep steering clear of any controversy.

It's the World Cup-- one expects these things; same with the Olympics. Unless it's in one of a handful of countries with proper infrastructure it's going to be a mixed bag. Enjoy the events and don't worry about the amenities of those who go there. Though I am curious to ask my friend who's in Qatar for the Cup what it was like once he returns.

reply

The whole thing is in shambles. The FIFA president blamed the West on his decisions.

This doesn't seem any different than when the Olympics took place in Russia or China. This is how the world works. This is how humans are.

reply

Well, this one was different because he's blaming the West, when his own people took bribes.

It’s more than 6500.

There was some counter to this report that this was total deaths across all projects, not just the World Cup. And then, of the world cup deaths, it had quite a small number being attributed to work place accidents.

Therefore what is the claim of the cause of the majority of the deaths?

reply

Only some representatives from Qatar countered it. They blamed propaganda from the West, which is funny because it was a article from The Guardian.

reply

“this was total deaths across all projects”

Oh well, that’s all right then.

reply

Well, not really - but the representation was that they had fully been as a result of world cup projects and that wasn't true.

reply

It's sad that there's some assholes here actually defending Qatar just because you happen to agree with one aspect of their identity politics. Smooth brain status.

reply

That's bigotry for you.
