It looks atrocious, why can't Hollywood afford good wigs anymore?? And another world where only two colors exist, cyan and yellow.

I don't want to have high hopes (Which thankfully this trailer doesn't provide) but I don't want to see Tom be wasted in a Sony SFX-fest tied to Venom.
Hopefully there's more to the story than the trailer hinted towards.
Unless Spidey gets a symbiote in Infinity Question I'm curious as to why Venom looks the way he does.
Damn you beat me to it by 22 minutes. Other than that, Sony ruins it yet again. Near the end of the trailer, his eyes look asiany and all the way up to his forehead. Looks messed up. That or it was because of him opening his large mouth.

I have been excited for this film since day one. Now with this trailer, I am beyond thrilled. Although the potential lack of Spider-Man is worrisome, at this point all I could ask for is a good Venom film, period. In fact, I get the feeling this may end up being one of my favorite comic book films ever, EVEN if it turns out to be less than stellar (well, as long as it doesn’t get universally panned or anything). But an exciting and finely-executed piece of comic book cinema would be satisfactory enough.
Hardy as Eddie, Venom’s look (beastly and mostly accurate!), the cast, the rumored dark humor, the tone, the overall setting and premise... I am stoked.
