How the hell did demon Dex get in the bathroom when he would have to get in the room with the spells on them ? and 2 how did Colin get possessed ? i must be blind as a bat because i didn't see him get bit or anything .
shareI'm not sure how Dex got into the spell room. I'm gonna have to say that the blood covering the walls and the holes all over had something to do with it. Consider it a plot hole.
And Colin was possessed because he died in the house. They needed 7 souls, and Colin must have died from falling... if you pay attention he was gasping for air and coughing up blood.

Ya but the only way to get IN the bathroom is IN the room with the spells on the walls . The first post could have happened but then again they drew the symbols back on the walls . And i re watched it again and Colin wasn't coughing blood or anything so how he got possessed is still over my head .

THey are demons, he probably got in by being a demon and using crazy black magic to get in some other way.
As for Colin, I thought Maddie asked if he got bit and he said he didn't think so. I figured that when he turned into a demon it meant that he thought wrong haha.

This was a horrid movie, but Demon Dex getting into the bathroom was a no brainer. Remember, the demons could appear ANYWHERE in the house that didn't have the spell symbols on the wall. The only place they couldn't get in was the bedroom, but the bathroom was free of the spells. Just like Angela summoned the blood to wash away the spells, the blood was used as a means of teleporting Demon Dex into the bathtub. It's stupid, I know.
sharewell the previous movies and many other similar movies do the same thing, have the demons able to basically teleport. i didnt think anything of it because it was just typical demon movie rules. they are mystical, multi-dimensional beings so its not big a stretch having them do that.

I was wondering how Colin got "demonized" as well. There was a bunch of crap left untold for imagination in the film.
shareDex attacks Colin in the bathroom, but we're not sure if he got bitten. When Maddie asks him if he was bitten, he doesn't respond, and instead tells her that he thinks "that thing" wanted to *beep* him. He DID get bitten but he didn't want to say so. It's one of those moments when the character doesn't admit that they're hurt and in the end it all goes down hill. I thought it was kind of obvious.

i assumed dex went through the pipe. that's what all the blood in bathtub was.
colin turning, who knows he's lying on the ground in the basement, falling through 3 floors, with a compound fracture, all it would take is one demon to spit at him at that point.
this movie was a lot better at plot holes than the others.
he used the plumming for once. iamgine that, demon mechanic.

Now I know that the only way to become a demon and they mentioned it during the movie was engaging in sex with a demon or getting bitten by a demon. Possibly before they entered the room of spells that Dex was bitten or scratched. It is a wild guess that I am making here but it is a possibility though. I think Colin was possessed when he fell through the floor and the demon got him.

If you look closely at his leg you see a worm gets into it, and then when she snaps his leg back into place I'm assuming that's what made him change. kinda stupid but oh well.
