It's sad they felt the need to exclude the only African American character ( Alvin Alexis ) in order to have an all white cast for this remake.

And wasn't there an Asian girl in the original as well?

I would be more upset they they were totally discriminatory toward women with real breasts. What was that one broad thinking. It's like she had bowling balls surgically attached to her chest. Does she actually think that looks good? Dumb broad...

Big deal. Roger was a wuss and should've been killed off instead of Sal. At least that guy came around as a halfway decent person. Plus, I don't think Michael Copon is necessarily all white and he's one of the protagonists.

Wow.... i only read a few posts. this is the dumbest thread ever. cuz no matter what everyone is gonna say well this race has it bad but this doesnt so this = that and .... god.. who cares it didnt have a black or asian in it.. who cares if the cop was black...

people need to stop putting colors and race angles to every damn thing in this country. >_< a movie is a movie and cuz a black guy wasnt in it acting like a scared pussy doesnt mean the movie is racist. it means they didnt cast one..

stupid moral police and politically correct douchebags always trying to guilt others into feeling bad for stuff that has nothing to do with them.

Just ignore the OP because he/she is the real racist. Just look at his/her posting history and it's more than enough evidence that that is all he/she focuses on. Every post is about white people being horrible and some anti-christ presence in our world.

Rodger was a likable character in the original no doubt. This is not a carbon copy and there is no point of recreating his character. The only relevant character is Angela and so that is the route they went. Why is it so important to have the black guy in it but not the Asian girl?
