Shouldn’t this have been About a kid who grew up in the 90s?
Not only would they make more sense but 90s nostalgia is all the rage right now
shareNot only would they make more sense but 90s nostalgia is all the rage right now
shareI shouldn't have been even thought of. The whole idea of taking a known show or movie and just "diversifying" it has failed more than it's succeeded. Yet they keep doing it....
shareFinancial success is of no concern to these people. Interracial porn for example, has been produced at a financial loss for decades. "It's not about money... it's about sending a message."
I am 100% certain that these Woke reboots are all being financed and kept afloat by George Soros or perhaps even China.
shareWhere's the proof of that? Porn makes million of bucks per year---nobody produces any kind of porn unless it's making money, period. Unless you got some actual stats to back that up, I don't believe anything you said about it.
Honestly, you conservative quacks need to get off this Soros conspiracy bull**** because none of that is true either.
we can only assume he's a far right racist nutjob apoplectic that blacks and whites are mixing in that way, and stealin' his white wimmin!
white wimmin that would never look twice at him regardless of if black men existed or not. he just wants an excuse for why nobody wants him and has to delude himself into thinking that if it wasn't for those darn black folk he'd be getting swarmed by the ladies. I think a lot of hate is just losers doing mental gymnastics to avoid having to face what's in the mirror
shareBoth Hawaii Five-O and Magnum P.I. were both rebooted and more diversified----the former was a popular show for a decade--almost as long as the original series was on, while the Magnum series is still going full blast, and is still fun to watch. So your claims about diversity "ruining" a show are just plain bull****. You don't even know what the hell you're talking about. Guess what? Even white people are tired of watching the same old tired shows with the same old tired-a** stories about white people that have been done a million times before---hell, even they want to see something new----like the reboot of S.W.A.T., which is also more diversified, and just came back for, I think, a third season. You're the one who sounds stupid as hell whining about a handful of shows just because, for some stupid reason, you can't stand to see other people besides white people on rebooted shows. Get the fck out of here with that bull****.
shareI read your book report and to be honest I haven't seen any of these shows you mentioned. Seriously, I haven't subscribed to any programmed television since the early 2000s so maybe you're right, maybe you're wrong. I don't even remember making that comment, so cheers to you for being passionate about it.
sharepathetic
shareYou show up on a 2 year old post to call me pathetic?
shareexactly that, and in 100 years time people will still see you as such.
p.s. good job counting to 2, it's the only thing you've managed to do in this thread without embarrassing yourself
No, it has to imitate the original The Wonder Years, except emphasize racist white people.
shareAs usual, none of you whiny trolls know what the hell you're talking about. The Wonder Years reboot is currently one of ABC's most popular shows, and it's actually a pretty good show---which you would know if you actually bothered to watch it, instead of whining and complaining about the fact that it's been rebooted with a black family as the main characters. Also, it's not an imitation of the original series----same era, but a different place, and a family dealing with different issues. Because that's the only reason you trolls are complaining about it, which is pretty damn stupid. Oh, well, it's still popular, whether you trolls like it or not, lol.
sharewas curious re the Disney episode. The family is the only one dressed like the 1960s. I know they wanted to do it up big, but this wasn't the way.
