Victoria Justice PERFECT!!!!!

She was one of the best in the cast, when she sang Touch Me, I almost died. She is so sexy and get voice SPOT ON!!!!! Wonderful!!! She needs to do more since Victorious.

reply

she was the only one who could act

reply

Her and [especially] Ryan McCartan were fantastic. They were the only good things about this movie. I actually prefer them to Barry Bostwick & Susan Sarandon.

reply

didn't she have a show last year that was canceled?

reply

She was good, but not as good as Columbia.

reply

Ashford was a pleasant surprise, but I don't think she was the best casting choice for Columbia. Magenta, sure, but Columbia had to follow Nell Campbell's Columbia, an act very hard to follow.

reply

Eye candy was the show and i liked it better than her acting in this. I will admit her voice is 10 times better than i eeve could have imagined

reply

i never saw the show. i just remember seeing the previews. the only thing i've seen her in before this was a movie where she and her friends had a wacky adventure while searching for her missing brother on halloween.

reply

Fun Size! I love that movie

reply

Yeah she really is the best part of it. He voice on Over At The Frankenstein Place was heavenly!

reply

She suprised me she even managed to sound like Susan Sarandon on occasion. Her and Adam Lambert were the only ones who I liked. Brad sounded perfect but his delivery lacked on some of the more tongue in cheek moments. I liked Riff Raff untill he started singing. I didn't like this versions rendition of the time warp (not to mention not even doing the time warp) at all. I HATE Magenta and Columbia. Magenta was TOO eratic and Columbia seemed bored most of the time. She's a groupie she's not supposed to seem bored. Laverne Cox did a poor job in my opinion she rotated from imitating Tim Curry too much to not even being recognizable as Frank.

Its something you'll get used to a mental mind *beep* can be nice!

reply

She was BETTER than Sarandon. :)

reply

Victoria Justice was the light over at the Frankenstein place. She was enthusiastic and funny and has an amazing voice.

reply

I agree she turned out to be a pleasant surprise. Too bad the show was so sanitized that she couldn't get more raunchy than she did. Susan Sarandon owned Janet's lusty side and Justice was not able to go that far.

reply

Uh, yes she was. Justice was BETTER than Sarandon. Fact.

reply

No. Opinion. Not everyone agrees with you that she was better. I thought she was surprisingly good but not as good as Sarandon. Sarandon's rendition of the character could have stepped right out of a classic horror movie, Justice did well but she didn't have the erractic damsel in distress quality that Sarandon did which is kind of the point. She did much better with her role then the rest of the cast did, but to say she was better then Sarandon sorry don't buy it.

I have spoken. Fact.

You are speaking to yourself. Thought you should know...

"Justice did well but she didn't have the erractic damsel in distress quality that Sarandon did which is kind of the point"

I haven't seen the original in a long time and only vageuly remember it, but 'erratic damsel in distress" is precisely how I would describe Justice in this film.

Don't get me wrong Justice delivered one of the best performance in this. She did an admirable job. However, Janet and Brad are characters straight out of bad fifties horror movies. They are super straight laced and Janet has some huge over reactions she faints on more then one occasion. Justice portrays this decades version of an "erratic damsel" but she would actually be considered rather calm and collected amongst fifties heroines.

reply

Bingo! She was entirely erratic damsel and distress

I love you, Kristen Stewart. :) You are so beautiful and talented. I would love to perform with you.

reply

Making a "fact" declaration doesn't make it so...

reply

Now we know you have no taste.

reply

Too bad the show was so sanitized that she couldn't get more raunchy than she did.

So the scene where Brad and Janet are sent into separate rooms and the doctor pretends to be both of them was cut out of this version? Too bad. I thought that would've been interesting seeing Victoria Justice think that Ryan McCartan is banging her (and vice versa) only to find out it's Laverne Cox.

I've seen enough of Ryan McCartan to know he would've been the perfect Brad, but even though I knew how great Victoria Justice was I didn't expect this kind of a reaction.

And I hated the original version. I didn't see any part of the remake until "Planet Schmanet, Janet," and the only reason I even bothered was to see how contemporary actors handled such iconic roles.

reply

Oh that was in there. Victoria Justice looked stunning.

reply

She was great
