Interesting that a film about a black Wicked Witch challenging an “oppressive” white Wizard for control of Oz comes out during an election in which a black female candidate is challenging an “oppressive” white male candidate for control of the US. Makes me wonder if Kamala was always meant to be the Democratic candidate since this movie has been in production and scheduled for its release for years.
