So... its been a month since its release and its safe to say that this movie bombed on all fronts

So... this movie has $120 millions budget. Will Smith got payed $35 million for his part.

It never went to movie theaters so didnt make a cent to earn any money back. Apple basically just lost this money. No they dint get millions of new subscribers to get those money back. No one sighed just to see this boring movie. Nobody at all cared about this movie and Im sure not many people watched it even for free on their streaming.

Also so far it is completely ignored by awards nominations. No, not because of Slap. Simply because its bad and weak movie. Why on earth this movie was made is beyond me. This is how those stupid streamings go bankrupt. They spend hundred of millions on movies and tv shows and dont get anything in return. Whatever subscribers they have - its not enough to get more then they spend. At least in theaters movies get some money back. On Broadcast they have commercials. On streaming they have nothing.

Apple just threw 120 millions in the dumpster.

What did you think of the film?

It was quite boring. Wet for too long. Will Smith was miscast.

Black and white color filter was annoying. And most of the time you couldn't tell what was happening because of that.

Perhaps you are being a bit harsh, but the movie was not great... perhaps a 6.5/10 at most... in part because of some educational-historical relevance for newer generations.
