Worst movie of 2010.. if not the decade.

I don't know if I'd say it's the worst of the decade. (Anything on Syfy would be better qualified for that.) However, having just watched it for the first time last night, I would say it's certainly overrated and nowhere near as clever as it thinks it is. It started out okay with some interesting ideas, but by the end it had basically become the same thing it was trying to critique.

I think this movie is WAY UNDER RATED. It still kicks ass even the movies that are coming out.

This is not the type of film I usually watch but I saw it last night on TV and thought it was very funny. Loved it.

The Witch is back!

I guess it is a 10 star movie for those who loved the comic book (didn't even know there was such a comic book) and 5 star movie for those of us who did not follow the comic book. I also agree that it is extremely overrated and does not deserve nowhere near 7.8 rating it has. IMDB needs to get their act together, and come up with a better rating system.

Without reading the replies to your post, of which there are WAY too much!...I also thought WTF is this shi*t in the cinema less than 1/2 way thru (along with my friend) but we forced ourselves to watch it and still thought it was such a bad, stupid movie and we were at a loss to understand what the hell was going on.

I am shocked to see that they have wasted millions on a sequel, but then again they did the same to Spiderman - another movie I thought was a piece of crap and horrified to hear they made a sequel..then again, Hollywood is just a McDonald's playground of the rich and they all know a largely brain dead public will be sucked into paying for their folly & excursions in expenditure.

'Its overrated' or 'everyone agrees with me'.

Its a desperate attempt to fill the void where a life and friends usually are. The OP can clearly seethe reviews this film got and the IMDB score but still feels the need to make this generic thread.

We are talking about a kid who has trouble forming sentences lol.

Coming from the person who is planning on getting The Great Gatsby on Blu-Ray.
