Natalie Portman vs. Zoey Deschanel: Who was hotter?
Who do you think was the hotter babe in this flick?
I myself prefer Zoey Deschanel.
This isn't even debatable, personal preferences aside: Natalie Portman.
Zooey already looks like a hag queen. Her eyes, her face, droop, look withered and old. She's not even beyond her 30's yet she looks like she's pushing 50. She'll look really bad in another 10 years, when her body (which is awkward and lanky anyway, with a rather doltish manly quality to it). She reminds me exactly of a girl I used to work with who really looks just like her, but the girl I worked with was a tad bit hotter, and comes across more professional.
Natalie is classically a beautiful person. She has perfect, symmetrical and flawless facial structure: the squared jawline, the angular chin, the set eyes, the arrow-pointed eyebrows. She has some of the most beautiful eyes in Hollywood. The mole? And, she has a slender, fit body, though her size might be a little too petite for many people's preference. She was attractive as a young girl and has only become more beautiful in her 30's. When Natalie is 50, and pushing 60 and beyond, she will still be pretty, and she will still be an A-Lister, not a forgotten about relic. That is in part because she's also a superior actress, and a class act across the board--well respected, well deserved.
That being said, I am not saying Zooey is ugly. I don't personally find her attractive as a Hollywood actress, but if I met her in real life at a bar and didn't know who she was, I'd probably find her attractive. There's different standards when you become a celebrity though. Even so, she's still pretty, and she has attractive qualities. It's just they pale in comparison to someone like Natalie Portman.
But given this is 2016, Zooey is already on the outs. Natalie is doing as well as she ever has. As both age, Zooey will fade out of the Hollywood scene, Natalie will remain in the spotlight. In part due to acting, and in part due to their appearance. Just how it is.
In closing, I found Natalie's character the only redeeming quality in this film. Her character seemed to be a joke amongst herself, as in the character seemed to want to get out of this film ASAP, much like Natalie was probably thinking in her head the entire time filming this nonsense.
