Reportedly Affleck didn't want to be Batman anymore after the JL reshoots, how BVS was received, his divorce and rehab, he was advised he would drink himself to death if he did a solo film.
shareThe directors for the Batgirl movie said that Batman will be in it. Since J.K. Simmons is reprising his role as Gordon, it's almost certainly going to be Ben Affleck. That'd be cool to see even if it's just a supporting role like in Suicide Squad or the Flash movie.
