The ending SPOILERS

Wtf I honestly thought that this was going to be a miniseries but it ended with a massive cliffhanger.

It was a wild show and very interesting. I don't know yet what to think of it, but I need to watch it again later. Your thoughts on the show and the ending? What does it all mean?

reply

Had moments when it dragged and moments when it was that good over the top korean shit.

I enjoyed it and the ending made me more interested in what's to come, if anything is to come.

I guess things are going to start changing now that the baby survived. He has a Harry Potter kind of thing going on now - he is "the boy who lived".

Yes, there must be a continuation to explain it all!

Btw, so ironic, the parents didn't have a name for the baby yet and called him "Toughie" because he was a survivor. How prophetic.

It's more like the Antichrist (without the evil connotations).

He is the living proof that "god" is not perfect and makes mistakes - first by condemning him while innocent and second by letting him live and third by "protecting" him.

And to the world the 2 things (mistakes) are there to see but at the same time they don't know that the arrowhead was sentenced to die then so they will interpret it as an act of god to defend the baby - and the lawyer has the baby.

So yeah, it would be interesting to see a second season.

You still think that the creatures are actually from god?

reply

did you not notice my quotes around "god"???

I have no idea what the creatures are from but that's what the society in the movie believes they come from.

Possible the writers have come up against the "Lost" phenomenon, where you create weird, challenging circumstances; present crazy, other-worldly phenomena, but when all is said & done you really don't have a good, satisfying explanation that ties everything together.

How to portray the unimaginable?

Still, the cabbie's words notwithstanding, the final scenes strongly suggest plans for more seasons.
