Agreed. Troll 2 used to be #1, but Troll 2 is a work of art compared to this. Troll 2 recently skyrocketed up a bit due to people enjoying it as a "so bad it's good" movie, and if you watch it from that angle it's actually wildly entertaining. The only movie I've seen that's currently lower than "Disaster Movie" is "Manos: Hands of Fate", and while I found that film to be boring as all hell, at least it wasn't making me cringe every 5 seconds.

Troll 2 has a fun appeal in being a bad movie. It's fun to watch because it actually tried to be a good horror film, yet failed as Plan 9 From Outer Space did years prior. Disaster Movie attempted to be a funny parody of popular films, yet failed in every possible way. The creators of this film watched a bunch of movie TRAILERS and thought by making fun of the films (without actually seeing the films in question) the audience would find it funny. We didn't! It was not only an offence to the films they lampooned, it was an offence to the 'spoof' genre itself!

JUST AWFUL THAN AWFUL!!!!!!!!!!
this movie is worst than DATE movie!!
i never thought any movie could have been worst than disaster movie!!
i dont think any other guy besides jason and aaron can make more awful movie than this.
IS IT POSSIBLE TO MAKE MOVIE WORST THAN THIS?
i just cant believe how did i ended up watching this movie....

It wasNo. 1, but it got boosted when the company behind it created a massive number of account and boosted the rating. They did the same thing with "Vamires Suck"

No, Dead serious, company employees created hundreds of accounts. They even added a fake film called "Sweetie Pie" to imdb and gave it over 5000 "1" ratings, just to get Disaster Movie to Number 2.

Your obviously 13, because you have no idea how the IMDB best/worst ratings system works
if your not a Top 1000 voter, your vote doesn't matter
I don't think they have that many votes on those made up accounts to be in the top 1000

yes, yes it is.. i just started watching this on comedy central. it got to the part with the High school musical scene and it is ridiculous.. im still waiting to laugh. it does seem like these guys never actually saw these movies they are spoofing. they are dragging out the jokes way way way too long, like the amy winehouse belching in the face.. not funny.. the entire 3 hour high school musical number, not even a snicker.. thats as far as im getting...

Sorry, but you must have never seen Zombie Nation. Disaster Movie is The Godfather compared to that piece of garbage.

Does it deserve to be in the bottom 100? Hell yes. But Zombie Nation is MUCH worse and should take the #1 spot.
