Political correctness/censorship wins again

The real reason Amazon (owns IMDB) is shutting down the boards it to stifle open debate. Trolls notwithstanding. The next step will be Google blocking comments and the dislike bad on movie trailers.

Soon we will only be able to view the content but not discuss it, lest a negative aspect be found and gain steam thereby hurting the already low corporate profits.

RIP open speech, it seems to be dying faster than I thought it would.

At least you weren't stupid enough to bring up the first amendment or freedom of speech.

Amazon is private company they can do what they want. Its all about corporate greed. Watch google follow suit.

He's also right about blocking comments. Sometimes on movie recap type channels, they will outright disable comments on a lot of videos, and I've seen an uploader put in the description that they aren't the one disabling it.
