Fantastic, I loved it. I really needed to see something as wonderful as Doctor Strange. Pure entertainment, total escapism and enchanting.
Now I just want to go and have an endless beer with Thor.

shareI agree wholeheartedly. Aside from the solid character development throughout, it’s adventurous from start to finish, wondrous, sharp, well-paced (imo), and visually captivating. It’s fantasy at its finest.
A really unique entry into the MCU.
I thought it was a fun summer movie. Not something to take seriously, but it's good entertainment for a summer afternoon. Plus, Benedict Cumberbatch was perfect for the role :)

Personally, I find the film a little too moody, unorthodox, inventive, and pretty “Strange” compared to your topical blockbuster. And aside from its delightfully humorous moments, I don’t see why it can’t be taken seriously. From Strange’s accident to his literal spiritual journey, his story is gripping to watch. It’s wonder and escapism at its finest, but it has depth.
