his acting is so annoying in this and there is nothing about his performance that's compelling. if he wasn't brad pitt, it would've been considered shit. he's not compelling, charismatic, sympathetic, just annoying. they should've had kyle chandler for this but he already played a coach in friday night lights, this might've been too repetitive.

I've always seen him as being a likable but mediocre actor. He's pretty harmless, and plays roles like the one in this film best.

I liked him just fine. Don't know what the expectations were, but he is basically a character actor, and his character fit that of a major league GM rather well, imo.

If he bugs you, he's gonna bug you. I think he's cool as shit.
