Hear me out. Fury Road was a famous disaster of a production that was only saved in the final hour by the editor, George's wife Margaret Sixel. Years and years of pre-production nightmares, a disastrous shoot, and a lead actor who was just an impossible fuck tard. And just like Star Wars, it needed a woman to make it shine. And we got one of the greatest film achievements of all the time. Thank you every body involved.

Now we're making another one, and with a big fucking star. Fucking MCU's Thor for fuck's sake. Who got massive jacked to play Hulk Hogan but used his muscles over here instead. And my point is I think for the first time in the Mad Max franchise star power influenced the final edit. There's cuts and scenes in this movie that woulda never showed up previously. The problem is Dementus. This is either his movie. Or it's Furiosa's movie. And the film never made that call and it shows. He ether needs more screen time to make sense of how he lost control, or less to make him more abstract and mythic a figure. (the right answer).

This film didn't have anything to say. That's the problem. And the hollywood star made whatever message it had into mud.
