What's up with the constantly sped up footage?

Quite often in this movie body movements seem to be ever so slightly sped up. And no, I'm not talking about CGI, I'm talking about people getting on and off bikes etc.

How did you like this style? It gave a certain cartoony quality to action scenes.

Miller has been doing this in every Mad Max movie. It's his style. I like it.

Best part of movies. I liked that.

God awful. Half the reason I saw this twice in the theater is I thought the projectionist screwed up the movie the first time somehow not showing the frame rate right. The trick was used to great effect in Fury Road but it was like watching a cartoon this time. The whole movie is shot that way. Got the feeling they realized the film was a bit slow in the editing room and kept trying to speed things up.

it's called undercranking. a trademark of the series.
