worth a watch..

Took some time to go and watch this one tonight. I will admit that the CGI in some portions in the beginning were a little distracting, you can clearly see it in some of the scenes and isn't as great as MM: FR was in that respect. I went in not expecting much, just wanted to get out of the house.. but over all I thoroughly enjoyed it and wanted more. The motorcycle chariot was a nice touch. I'm also not much of a Hemsworth fan, but this is probably the best I've seen him act and couldn't imagine anyone else topping that role.

I found the CGI / green screen in Fury Road to be way worse. Even though it's not great in this one either.

The chariot was at least something different from the big hood car with someone strapped to the front.

I didn't even know that was Hemsworth until I came to this board to discuss. He did a great job.

Agreed, and me neither. I don't think I've ever seen him with that long of a beard. I didn't think his character was going to show up until later on in the movie. Guess I just couldn't picture him dressed up as a Messiah.

I would agree with Mooville, sums up my feelings too.

I thought the central chase scene with the big truck was extraordinary, and the music in that segment was great.

I also liked Hemsworth, he does not often get to use his Aussie accent so that was cool.

However, I though his last scene went on far too long.

The clincher for me is would I watch it again, answer is yes.

And I could care less about the naysayers constantly talking about how it's a flop, and how woke it is etc. I liked it, and that's all that matters to me.
