That judge definitely takes it up the ass

You can tell, she has that look.

The very last lines certainly made her seem this way. "That's one of the benefits of being a judge, Mr. Rice. I can pretty much do what ever I want" *Cell Phone goes BOOM* LOL

I hate hate HATE that they showed the set-up for that scene in the previews.

It was shocking enough even with the preview spoiler, but I would've jumped outta my seat had I seen it cold.

Why does he even care about that aspect THAT much given everything else that happened including the murder of his family?

Clyde's a tactician ... everything he does has a purpose

He was TRYING to get the judge to deny his bail. He WANTED to be in prison, where he could get himself thrown into solitary and thus have the freedom to come and go at will.

So he doesn't kill the judge for revenge. He does it as part of his overall plan to bring down the entire system. He wants to show that judges, DAs and mayors are all vulnerable to people like him, if they're allowed to abuse the criminal justice system as it stands.

And of course he doesn't actually care whether the judge takes it in the ass - he was just manipulating her, like he did everyone else.
