Well I still see a satyre of Woke America in the show. They critique all of the modus operandi of the left
- Gaslighting
- Virtue signaling on race (especially in episode 5)
- Manipulation of the opinion
- Pushing false narratives about supes
- Weaponizing compassion to pursue military goals
- Weaponizing the press for innuendos, gossip and reputation destruction (against Starlight)

While the original comic was clearly pro-liberal, it was written in a different era. It was mostly anti-corporate and anti-establishment.
