All of the political stuff is way too on the nose and feels forced and the writers can't get over the Trump era.

Is it really about Trump only? I think these sups are mirroring perfectly EVERY political system with all the megalomania and ass kissing you will find there too. They are checking their approval rate all the time and they are even controlled by a bigger enterprise...

I don't think it's all about Trump either. I feel like it hammers both sides of the spectrum really well. It's all about how fake these supes are and how corrupt they are on the inside.

I know the Reddit sub has been overtaken by liberals laughing at how it's all about skewing the right, but as a moderate voter I can honestly say it's hitting everyone equally.

Well seeing as how the Comic, which had all the Stormfront Nationalism stuff your probably referring to, preceded Trump's presidency by a good decade, the question you should be asking is why the Trump era is eerily similar to a superpowered Nazi playing on peoples worst fears.

How was the Trump era in any way similar to Stormfront?

The democrats were the ones playing on peoples’ worst fears by spewing muh white supremacy, bigotry, sexism, racism, etc.
Liberals were the ones attacking people and destroying property just for having a different opinion.

The Dems and Libs are still doing that by the way, and have been for a long time. Their tactics change but their goals are the same: keep people hateful and divided, they’re easier to control that way.
