I missed why Jess went on a killing spree

shareAt the start of round 2, Jess is confident that she can break the cycle, save everybody, and get back to her boy. At the end of it, she sees that she failed, everyone died, and sshe is still stranded. So she concludes her only way to get back to her kid is to kill them all and then break the cycle by stopping the Triangle from boarding.

Only thing, she could also have broken the cycle by showing herself and warning them off before they boarded.

i like the idea, but they problem being that every new incarnation of jess needs quite some time to figure it out. also it raises the question AGAIN as to how many loops are going on simultaniously. some say one, some say two, but it is more likely that we are dealing with at least 3 loops going on at the same time. people have been speculating on that for years now, which is a good thing in my mind. there are endless discussions regarding that matter. :D
