They never, not even once, shut the bedroom door when they went to bed. Not saying it sold have solved the problem completely but it sure as hell would have helped.

shareWell it can open and close doors on its own, as is shown multiple times in the movie. So I’m not sure how closing the door would have solved anything actually. It would just open it when it wants.
And Micah was interested in getting video of what was going on. It would be much easier to see and hear what’s going on on the video with the door open than with it closed.
Exactly....we wouldn't have had the footage of the lights turning on and off outside of the bedroom if the door was closed.🤣
shareIt would have been more of a warning for them that something was there when they heard it open. Not necessarily would have changed anything though I guess.
shareI always sleep at night with my bedroom door wide open. Because I want to be able to hear if someone, or in this case “something” comes into my home. I imagine Micah and Katie probably felt the same way. With the door shut, all sorts of stuff could be going on and they wouldn’t be able to hear it and prepare themselves.
