Score on this will DROP

This movie is a series of disconnected events that leaves the protagonist in the backseat for half the film. The beginning was completely disconnected from the end. We're supposed to believe that Michael C. Hall is going to help Sam Shepard (who, need I remind you, was leaving BULLETS in his son's BEDROOM not 20 minutes prior) go kill his psycho son? Oh right, Michael C. Hall HAD to go because he needed to find out who the intruder he shot actually was... but surprisingly enough, this is never revealed, or even MENTIONED after that weak scene in the car. Horrible script and B-movie direction that belongs on Lifetime network.

That's my opinion anyway...

There are numerous reasons he helped him out which are in the film.

First of all he is a devout Christian who wants to help out an also see justice and the right thing done. He wante to help the girls out as well because he felt they were being wronged. There is also living up to his Father as well who was a good guy and something he had never done.

Ultimately though, everything he did was because he wanted to do the right thing and couldn't stand back while bad things were occuring around him.

I'm not sure why so many people missed so many of these things that occurred in this film. Most of the things people say are missing or why did he do that are blatantly obvious throughout.

Going by the dumba$$ comments/questions on this board I would have to agree - the score will drop.

I totally agree, watched it last night, give it about a 5.5. We're supposed to believe this picture framer family man turns overnight into Billy Badass? And he just falls right in with the man that threatened his family? Jesus, this movie strained any semblance of credibility the entire way.

It's a movie... it's supposed to be there to entertain us. If you want real life, watch a documentary...
