Why should anyone be interested in this? Sounds like Game of Thrones all over again, and we all know how THAT turned out.

Denis Villeneuve is the only reason that anyone should be excited about this. I’ve read the book, then listened to the audiobook, then seen the Lynch film. In other words, I’ve tried my best to “get it”, but the story of Dune just flat out sucks. The devotion to it will never make sense to me.
