How did he survive at the end of the movie? He was surrounded by hundreds of zombies in the booth running out of ammo, and next time we see him he is all alone no trace of any zombies at all.
Did they change the scene because the studio execs or the test audience not like it?

I was just glad he did. I don't recall ever seeing Woody Harrelson look so damn hot! My Lord the man was sexy in this! 😍

I rewatched this tonight. We see a load of zombie bodies piled up outside the booth just before we see Woody looking very smug inside (and kissing his gun).
