Will there EVER be a Zombieland 2?

It would probably do very well if the cast returned....but break records? I love the first movie, but a sequel isn't going to be some box office record breaker...

Does the fact that the names of (?supposed?) cast members are listed - at least when the title appears during a search, even if not when it's clicked on - mean anything? Serious question; I have no clue.

Who else thinks if they were gonna do it then it should've happened back in 2011 or so. Comedy sequels usually only work if they're done immediately after the first. Once its been five, ten years then the sequel is simply riding on the cult status of the first and relying on recycled jokes. I just think they should leave well enough alone.

Like the now modern classic comedy Superbad, too many years have passed to make a sequel. Well, to make one that would at least potentially be a big hit. But if by some chance they do make a sequel and it gets a good reception - unlike most comedy/horror comedy sequels - then I can see it doing very well financially. The thing is, the buzz for it might not be the same like it would’ve been back in 2011-2013.

But that aside, they can do some fun things with a sequel. And while it is hard to imagine a 10-years-later-sequel generating as much interest as the first one did, the movie could be a surprise. And yes, I would welcome it.
