Two reasons I’ll pass on this

I hate Bob Dylan.

I hate Timothée Chalamet.

reply

Thanks for admitting you’re a basic bitch

reply

How so?

Bitch.

reply

Go back to your Taylor swift lol, bitchmade

reply

What does Swift have to do with this movie?

Bitch.

reply

You’re a ghey Swifty hating on Bob Dylan, you’re not fooling anyone

reply

So I’m loving a hot young blonde instead of drooling over some scrawny fugly old guy like you are?

I don’t see the problem.

For me anyway.

reply

So music quality is based on attractiveness now? Dayum yer dumb

reply

I didn’t say that, dimwit.

Pay attention.

They both suck but I’d rather watch her bounce around the stage than him.

BTW music quality — like beauty — is subjective and based on personal preference.

And based on how much money Swift earns, it’s obvious more people prefer her than ever preferred Dylan.

[mic drop]

reply

You’re still saying music quality is based on attractiveness and sales. Going by your logic, McDonald’s is the best food ever lol

Goddamn
You’re dumb and probably fat to boot.

reply

> You’re still saying music quality is based on attractiveness and sales.

Again, I didn’t say that.

Pay attention.

Dimwit.

Out of curiosity, what do you mistakenly assume defines quality?

>Goddamn
You’re dumb and probably fat to boot.

Dude.

I’m not your mother.

reply

Yes ya did you fuckin ingrate, apparently you’re illiterate or have amnesia. And if you didn’t say that then what exactly ARE you saying? Apparently you don’t even know

You’re more like my retarded red-headed stepson

reply

Those who use insults instead of carefully thought out logic always prove they aren’t able to support their side of a discussion.

So I’ll consider this a win for me.

reply

Um, no, you don’t get to play your high horse card when you’ve been hurling insults and not even using logic this whole time. You haven’t made one attempt to support your side of the discussion, don’t make me laugh boi 🤣

What a pathetic and embarrassing attempt on your part to save face. No one’s buying it.

reply

Sorry.

Your reply is too scrunched to read.

reply

It’s your brain that’s scrunched

reply

Well, although not as vehement, I agree with the OP.

One never got it with Bob Dylan. I wasn't there in the 60s - but in fact, I wasn't there for The Beatles either. I get it with The Beatles. What was the big deal about Bob Dylan?

Chalamet, eehh, fair at best. He's getting parts, IMO, for two reasons. #1 he is good looking, and #2 attrition - there isn't much else out there. I don't think he has any staying power though - he's not a good enough actor.

Not a fan of either, thus, like the OP, one will pass on this.

reply

Bob dylan changed the direction of pop music multiple times over

reply

Well maybe so, but he didn't carry over like The Beatles did.

I'm from the next generation, 20 years later. None of us cared about Bob Dylan.

All of us loved The Beatles.

reply

It’s not “maybe so”, it’s definitely so, the Beatles considered Bob Dylan one of their main influences. Every singer songwriter is influenced by Bob Dylan.

Your anecdotal experience is mostly irrelevant.

reply

Yeah, well I wasn't there.

True The Beatles were influenced by Bob Dylan. Which makes sense as they both came out of the 60s.

Yeah, what's irrelevant is your last sentence. I was simply stating a fact.

Bob Dylan was irrelevant to my generation.

reply

Well your generation sucked so… 🤣

reply

So a well passed his prime Baby Boomer would think.

But hey, at least we can thank you.

Your generation's music, particularly Bob Dylan, provided us with so much laughter.

Thank you very much!

reply

I’m younger than you, tardo 🤣

reply

Hey you know what....

I'm sorry, one stands corrected.

Bob Dylan did have a big influence on my generation.

Yeah, we all laughed hysterically at him during our first watch of the "We Are the World" video.

I'm sorry, one forgot the comedic value of Bob Dylan. It did carry over to my generation, bringing us so much joy.

reply

So you hate them.

reply

No, hate is too strong a word. For me to hate someone it would have to be personal.

One doesn't care for either, one isn't a fan of either.

Thus, no point in watching "A Complete Unknown"

Well , maybe I should watch it. It may remind me of all the hysterical laughter experienced while watching Bob Dylan perform in the "We are the World" video.

reply

Since I care so deeply what you think, I guess I'll have to pass on it too.
