So Trish is suddenly gonna be 16 years older?

Thats the odd thing about this movies timeline, so its supposed to be set just days or weeks after the events of the 1st movie right? And Gina Philips is gonna be back to play Trish, but Gina Philips looks alot older than she did in the 1st movie now, she was practically a teenager in the 1st movie, now she has that older mom look.

I'm not saying shes a grandma or anything but she sure as hell can't pass for a teenager anymore. Its just gonna be weird watching this knowing its supposed to be days after the 1st movie yet seeing Gina Philips suddenly looking nearly 20 years older.

This movie takes place 23 years after the first one.

where is that explained?? How would we know it wasn't 23 yrs after the SECOND one?

Actually Gina Phillips was 31 during the filming of the first movie.

She hasn't really aged that much since then. She looks rather young for 45.

Well she fooled me cause she looked about early 20's in that movie almost even a teenager, but once you get in your 40's its not really possible to pass for early 20's anymore.

As i said i'm not saying shes an old woman but she doesn't look exactly as she did in the 1st movie anymore.

Days or weeks later??? How would the creature be back for a slaughter-fest if it was days or weeks later??? IT only comes out every 23 yrs, remember?
