Wonder if it will start with a (short) prequel or explanation of what happened aboard their vessel before it first arrived on Earth.
Will they cure Wikus or take him with them back to their planet ?
Will they decide to stay on Earth & eradicate all Humans ??? (he, he).

In August 2023, Blomkamp was asked about a District 9 sequel while promoting Gran Turismo and hinted at the project being shelved indefinitely. "I don't know if it's getting made or not, it’s probably not," Blomkamp told Brian Davids of The Hollywood Reporter. "I don't know if I even want to make that movie now, but at some point down the line, it'll probably get made."
