Ironic that...
Rachel Sennott, the lead character -- the Shiva Baby -- is not even Jewish, but the shiksa (non-Jewish woman), Dianna Agron, who plays the wife of Shiva Baby's sometime love interest, is actually Jewish.

shareInteresting, but not ironic. Look up the meaning of "irony".
shareIronic: something is odd or humorous because it has a different or opposite result from what is expected.
shareLook up the difference between casting against stereotypes and irony. Enlighten yourself about diversity within Jewish communities and preconceived notions about what it means to "look" or "act" Jewish.

Claiming that something is irony which is not irony requires some sort of explanation, which you have not provided. Casting against stereotype is a reasonable explanation of what this is, not irony. Quoting the definition of irony does not make something ironic.
shareI didn't quote the definition of irony. I did quote the definition of ironic.
shareLMAO! You think that makes your argument any better? Ironic is the adjective derived from the word irony. The meaning is the same. So again, your original comment doesn't describe irony or something ironic. It describes casting against stereotype.
shareBooooo!
shareWhat an intelligent comeback! Give us another one. Dig the hole deeper.
shareBooooo, as in your arguments are specious and circular, and they lead nowhere except in your own head.
shareWhen all else has failed, you go to the last resort of "specious and circular" defense. Give us one quotation of mine that is either specious or circular, and explain how it is specious or circular. Once again, calling something specious and circular doesn't mean it's true if you have nothing to back it up. And you don't.
shareIt's called acting, Sennott also is straight but has played bi-sexual and Lesbian characters. I don't think cause you ain't Jewish that you'd shouldn't play Jewish. It's acting. Sure Polly Draper who played Danielle's mum isn't Jewish and she got the role down pat.
