i have never watched Marvel or DC movies cuz i hate super hero movies , i did enjoy Joker 2 and gave it 7 on IMDB (gave 9 for the first Joker) , just disappointed by the ending, I was hoping he would be so sad because of his gf dumping him he would create a whole new movement and unleash his wrath and anger in a 3rd movie, no big action or shooting scenes needed just the same style/atmosphere as the first two movies

sharePeople are angry because it is not in the same vain as the first one, and not only that, it destroys what people thought he understood and loved from the first one. I think this is the best executed F*ck You in the whole history of movies and people are biting the bait. It is a shame it is financially tanking, but the execution is glorious.
sharei understand and agree with you , but why would the people who invested money in this movie do that knowing it would get the movie negative critics ?? ( may be they don't care about 10 or 20 millions and enjoy their private joke? )
shareMaybe they didn't think they were making a crappy movie and they honestly thought the ending was really good. I think it is kinda good. At least realigns Joker's personality with the comics. Joker was always a villain, not an antihero. And comic's fans always thought Arthur was not really a good Joker but most thought it was just another movie that does not understand the source material. Now they turned the table, and while in theory most comic's fans should be happy, it seems most movie goers are not really comic fans.
