Chances of it being a hit?

First one was a huge success because it tricked fans into thinking it was about the actual Joker from the Batman universe, when instead they just took an existing script about a pathetic loser and social outcast and gave it names related to the Batman universe.

What are the chances this sequel will be a hit, especially as a musical and with the miscast generic, odd, non-binary looking Gaga playing one of the hottest characters from the comics?

I wonder what influence the Liberal Media will have this time? Will they call the Joker sequel "dangerous" and a "movie for Incels" like last time? If you create this kind of outrage again people will show up in droves to see it.

It's inspiration came from Taxi Driver.

Stop using that film as a shield though in that case hope this version takes inspiration from West Side Story both from the Original/Remake.
