How Many Other Straight Males Secretly Enjoyed this Movie?

I have to say I was dragged to see BURLESQUE and surprisingly found it enjoyable and sexy...I guess it was a guilty pleasure. I never thought Christina Aguilera was that attractive but she looked smokin' hot in this movie..in the beginning of the movie, at least, before all the make up and wigs.

I saw it on STARZ. It was a decent movie. espcially Christina Aguilera.

Naaaah, I've sat through it twice with my fiancee and both times I completely hated it(she didn't like it that much either, only to laugh at the cheesiness of it all). Christina was so BAD it was near torture her acting and her over-singing is quite franky unbearable and grating on the ears. The music wasn't that good(at all) and let's not forget this movie was more about singing than any actual burlesque. I know you might think I was looking for that because I'm a man, but you'd be wrong I just wanted a film that wasn't a total cop out. Also, the love interest thing has been done time and time again with a better script, director, and actors.
Cher and her assistant were the only people who had the least bit of believability. They tried their best but a turd is still a turd after you polish it.

So yeah, I *beep* hated this "film".

Uhm, why WOULDN'T a straight male find a film filled with sexy, young, half naked dancing women enjoyable? Agreed the acting was "meh", but eye candy GALORE. Singing wasn't bad either. If you had asked this question on the Magic Mike/Magic Mike XXL boards, then I would have understood.

Terminator 2
The Shawshank Redemption

Secret? For what? Tons of Hot women in the movie dancing and showing their curves. There's no reason a straight male can't like this movie. Not to mention the music. I like it.
