They seriously just gonna copy Halloween 2018 by just calling this Scream?

"Oh look Halloween 2018 made a ton of money at the box office, lets do exactly what they did, lets just call it the name of the original movie".

Thats what this is, just them copying Halloween 2018 hoping to get the success it had by copying some of the shit they did with that. Hate to break it to you motherfuckers but this wont have much success, no one gives a fuck about Scream or Ghostface. Michael Myers is an icon of horror, doesn't matter what they called it, it was gonna make money just from him being in it.

So go ahead and copy what they did with Halloween 2018 and just call it Scream even though its a god damn sequel not a remake....but Halloween did it so we gotta do it so we can make money! Watch it fucking bomb just like Scream 4 did, doesn't matter if you take the sequel number off it thats not gonna make it magically do what Halloween 2018 did. Ghostface just isn't as iconic as Michael Myers, he's not as universally loved by fans the way Michael is, just facts.

Let me guess if Halloween Kills does amazing Scream 6 will start adding goofy names on them like "Scream unleashed" and "Scream Annihilation".

See the thing is Ghostface is always just some new random teen, thats all he is, Michael Myers is evil incarnate, he's the same guy every movie, he's survived time and time again seemingly being unkillable. He's got mystique to him, he's got the unknown to him, thats more interesting to people than some yahoo teenager in a costume killing.
