Coming from an Asian, and white people wonder why blacks hate them?

Running around on horses in masks, hanging people for their skin color. Castrating them. Killing thousands.. One of the sickest and most pathetic acts I've ever seen. Of course I had heard about this in books, but this is truly pathetic. This stuff causes generational tension. I've seen it with the Koreans and Japanese from the Japanese soldiers raping and killing people in WW2..I know white people today have nothing to do with what their ancestors did, but you should be aware of WHY their is animosity. Everybody should do whatever they can to accept other races and be tolerant of the differences. I'm sure some white people can't stand being compared to their ancestors, but get over it. It happens to Asians all the time(Mao, Kim Jong, Imperial Army etc)

So white people should hate all arabs because of the ottoman invasion and slavery? If we follow your train of thought everyone on the planet should hate everyone. All continents did something bad to other continents. Everyone gets your point, but we as human beings of modern world have to move forward at some point.

Blacks hate everyone.

Especially other blacks.

Keep in mind it was blacks who sold blacks as slaves to other countries.

On average, there is more black violence against blacks than white against black.

So why do people keep judging whites?

1) In the US slaves were allowed to keep their genitalia for the most part which is not true in most other slave destinations. What you are seeing is an inundation of attention paid toward this historical period, and it's good to keep in mind this is a fictional effort 'based on a true story', with the legal hurdle to achieve this title being little if anything. The slave trade had been going on for a thousand years before it arrived in the New World (the Americas). It was run by jews and muslims. They raided not only Africa but other regions too including Ireland. Many white Irish were kidnapped and sold into slavery in the US where they were considered to be worth less than the African iteration and were therefore assigned the most dangerous duties. Slavery was an accepted institution in virtually every major civilization stretching as far back as Mesopotamia. It existed and grew unfettered for millennia. One civilization said no. One racial group had the empathy in them en mass to see this as the wrong thing. One group put an end to slavery in their part of the world and in every country they had dealings with. It was white Europeans, this group you judge so harshly here.

This does not compute. Also what about white slaves? Should whites then hold blacks accountable for their ancestors that owned white slaves? Should blacks be angry at other blacks for selling them into slavery and also being slave holders possibly? The percentage of slave owners of the white population was low. As a matter of fact at it's height only 1.6% of Americans owned slaves, just 4.8% of southerners. When a couple of points are considered it puts things into perspective: 1) most slave owners in the US were jewish and 2) most slaves were owned by a few very rich plantation owners, meaning that the average man, whether he be white, black or anything but jewish was likely guiltless, yet convicted under your judgement methods.

Just some things to consider. We sure see a lot of these kinds of movies made every year though, along with movies regarding the holocaust. Every year. It cements the fictional stories in the heads of the viewers as 'nouveau verite'. One would be forgiven for thinking that those that make these movies want these stories to remain in the public consciousness. And the two stories conspire to consistently make one race look bad, often along with their religion. It's a behavioral oddity among humans to do this- where is the parallel? There must be an impetus for it other than ticket sales since other topics for films do as well or better at the box office. Riddles of the noggin.

The OP is thinking of the arab slave trade. They castrated their male slaves. If they done the same thing in america then there wouldn't be any blacks alive there today.

Arabs slavers sailed as far north as Iceland, where they raided entire coastal villages. It was far more brutal than what happened during the atlantic slave trade. You just don't hear about it because it wasn't white people doing it, and because white people were victims of it.

You know what? I was born ninety years after the end of slavery in the U.S., and none of my ancestors ever owned any slaves. As a matter of fact, some of my male ancestors enlisted in the U.S. Army in the early 1860s and fought against the Confederate States to end slavery. So, any black person who hates me because I'm white, and because there was once, long ago, slavery, is a fucking moron.

That's when your opinion becomes irrelevant because non-whites will always side with each other against whites.

I will not be lectured by some dipshit trying to shame an entire race for what everybody else was doing for thousands of years beforehand.

just remember that If arabs, africans etc had the same power europeans had, they would've invaded and ransacked Scandinavia and germany for every blonde slave they could find.
