Two leads (70s) playing a couple in their 50s????
Jim Broadbent (70 when shot) played a 57 year old real man.
Helen Mirren (74 when shot) played his wife, which we assume would be the same age or younger.
The blurb from studio:
"In 1961, a 60-year-old taxi driver steals Goya's portrait of the Duke of Wellington from the National Gallery in London. He sends ransom notes saying that he will return the painting if the government invests more in care for the elderly."
So first up, the real man was 57.
Secondly, Jim Broadbent still looks older than 60.
They have a young son, who looks early 20s (22 was the actor).
So this whole movie feels weird.
How does a couple in their 70s have a 22 year old son?
I really wish they cast correctly.
