I'm surprised none of you noticed this, lmao.

The only thing that's odd for me is that the showrunners apparently meant that Lohar is supposed to be a woman who pretends to be a man, and has wives to legitimise her sex which she gets pregnant with other men. Except that in the show, she really doesn't look much like a man.

I mean... I thought it was obvious. The face, the voice, all of it.

I'm not surprised that nobody else commented on it, a lot of posts on here seemed to have given up on the show.

reply

Dude, people supposedly had given up on Acolyte but we had dozens of posts malding over it every time a new episode dropped.

reply

Ok? It's still possible to talk about a show when others are reviewing and summarizing it for the rest of us, dude.

reply

I suppose what I mean is when a show is put on the "we hate this" pile by the anti-woke lot, it never gets ignored lol. Be it doctor who, acolyte, velma

reply

The bigger the IP, the more people will comment on it, at least at first. You mention Velma, but that board doesn't have a lot of activity, so I'd say it was largely ignored after the initial hype died down.

reply

Sure, but I'm sure they'll be back for S02

reply

There already was a season 2, and barely anyone talked about it. Case in point.

reply

I thought it was dude, when I first saw him.

reply

I had no idea who he was IRL but it was easy to see with that jaw and voice.
