Actually glad that character is dead (episode 4 spoilers)

I mean Rhaenys, she was insufferable and every scene of her was some blatant feminist posturing that was off putting and came across as very try hard. Very unlikeable character.

Funny, I felt that way during S1, but she sort of grew on me this year. Took a bullet for the team in the end, helped to kill the wimpy king, good way to go out. Wonder how long it'll take the SeaSnake to get back into the dating circle... My guess is 1 episode.

Is the king really dead though? I think he's severely wounded, but alive.

reply

I think unconscious. I really hope he's alive because he's well-written.

reply

I'm glad that he's not just a Joffrey clone.

reply

Some people have compared him to Joffrey. I really don’t see the resemblance. The closest he came to being like Joffrey was when he hung the ratcatchers. Yet, as messed up as that is, at least he had a good reason for it. Joffrey was just cruel for the sake of it.

Aside from that, Aegon actually seems to care for people and wants to be liked.

Idk, I can look past the whole "being a rapist" aspect, but his hairstyle is unforgivable.

Also, Jeffrey in the show did have a good reason for killing Robert's bastards. They were a threat to his reign and could be used against him if found out.
