I can't believe people hate Aemond and think he deserved getting his eye taken.

First of all, Aemond was bullied by his brother and those bastard boys for years, mostly because he was the only one without a dragon. So he said fuck those assholes I'm gonna go get this dragon. So he gets a dragon and finally stands up for himself and THEY attacked him first and he defended himself. You're straight up giving him shit for picking up a rock and bashing someone with it when he was getting beat by 4 people when he was already down. He may have rode a dragon and said some meanie words.. but he got physically attacked first. You expect him to just lie there and take it until he's dead?

By the way, in the official Game of Thrones podcast they even said that Aemond had a good point. If Vhaegar is "your" dragon, CLAIM HIM THEN.

I'm team green all the way, 100%. Princess Rhaenyra Targaryen has had a free ride for way too long, and doesn't deserve that throne. Neither does Aegon, but Rhaenyra deserves it WAY less.

Issue I had is he was starting on the girls for no reason, and was rude about the fact their mother had died.

Yes he was bullied but he ended up becoming a bully to. If he was the better person then I'd agree but he wasn't and now seems twisted

I don't hate Aemond( I actually respect his character for training to be a good swordsman unlike his idiot cousins), but he was definitely a little asshole for the dragon thing. Pretty sure everyone knew that the dragon was hers to claim and it probably just wasn't appropriate to do so until after her mothers funeral.
