Episode 2. Even more boring. I had to fast forward

Nothing happened at all. Only endless boring talk shot on sound stage in decorations and green screen. When you watched Game of Thrones you felt they shot on location. Here it always feels like its green screen for outside shots. So painfully visible at that bridge meeting for egg.

Everyone is miscast. No characters to care about. All actors are acting horribly. Princess Rhaenyra is the worst. How she got past audition is beyond me. Her face is never moving.

I enjoyed it, but I was annoyed by some things. Like when the women were talking about the duty of kings more in the manner of 21st century women instead of women living in Westeros.

And when Rhaenyra kind of solemnly said "mother would have understood this" in regards to the king getting a new wife and heirs, was like saying "mother would have understood that 1+1=2" - yeah, duh. I got a big whiff of modernity seeping into some of these scenes.

It kind of stands out like a sore thumb when everything else is being handled so well.

hThe absence of titties diminished the appeal of this episode. Even in these Woke, Cancel-happy times in which we live, HOTD's producers were still astute enough to recognize what fans of all things GOT related tune in for
