Midnight Run, now that's funny. The Blues Brothers, Animal House, The Wedding Crashers. Even films as dark as Fargo, or satirical as Grosse Pointe Blank are laugh out loud funny in parts. Hangover is a zit on the butt of films like these.

Off the top of my head: Don't Be A Menace, Ghostbusters, Idle Hands, Freaked, Monty Python, Freddie Got Fingered, Blazing Saddles, Galaxy Quest, Super Troopers, Up In Smoke, Next Movie...

The Hangover is bog standard modern Hollywood tripe.
