A better ending should of been

I was a bit disapointed with ending it seemed unfinished just ends suddenly. A better ending that would be more exciting would be having Garber invovled with the heist all a long and be working with Ryder. Garber comes with the money they escaped together, the two catch a taxi and run along the bridge. then escape to a far away small town and celebrate but Garber becomes greedy and does a 180 stabbing Ryder in the back, shoots him dead takes all the money then continues his life. Who thinks that would be much better?

Ya I also thought the ending was unbelievable, garber shouldn't have had the guts to go after him and should've escaped the other tunnel path. I would've liked it a lot more if Ryder got away with his cash

I think the ending is appropriate. The bad guy got caught... But the way it happened was too flat and didnt fit with the rest of the movie. Ryder is so smart to come up with the plan but cant get away cuz of traffic?

The final sequence should have been more cathartic. Ryder should have offered Garber a bribe and Garber should have rejected it and then shot him. It would have flowed better with the previous dialogue about giving his life back to him, or maybe a second chance to do the right thing (not take a bribe).

Or perhaps the money that Ryder earned in the stock market was transferred to some church or something after he knew he was gonna get caught.

Also should have explained how the train stopped. Who tripped the red light?

I guess i was kindof expecting a Swordfish type ending. Basically Ryder turned into Vin Diesel from fast and furious, "im not going back to prison..."

PS the change in the concealed gun from a Walther PPK to Kahr K9 is a HUGE continuity error.

*A better ending should HAVE been

LOL, jaydexter. I thought the ending was okay, I knew it wasn't gonna end like the original, the moment Guzman's character was shot in the head. The idea of Garber & Ryder in cahoots would've been a great twist. No one would've saw that coming.

I agree koffeenkreame41-1!!! That would have been great. But Tony Scott normally does films with scripts that are for the simple-minded.

The ending didnt make sense.Ryder seemed to be in it for the money.I never thought he would surrender meekly like he did.

It's "should have been" or "should've been". Sorry lol, saw this and had to say something!

"What's heaven like?" "It's fine. There's a shortage of chairs."

Plus Ryder did all that quasi-religious talk that went absolutely nowhere, and made no sense at all!

I like to think Garber got home with the milk, and his wife had been killed. Much better ending.

"Should have" or "Should've" Not "Should of".

"Should've" is a contraction of "should have". When pronounced, "should've" sounds like "should of", but there is no such thing as "should of".

Same goes for "Would've" instead of "Would of".

Now you know. Just trying to make the world more literate any way I can.

I'm sure I'll get flamed for this but I don't care.
