Uhh, it actually wasn't THE best movie, Big Hero 6 was good but there were far better ones, Paddington included. I'll be patiently waiting your sincerest apology of ignorance

It wasn't boring at all - I enjoyed it immensely - I was happy to see that it did justice to the Paddington books which I read so many years ago - I think it shows there is still room for good natured fun films that don't have to beat you over the head with a moral nor talk down to you - just sit back an enjoy the ride

shareI never read the Paddington books as a kid and based on the trailer, I wasn't expecting much out of this. It turned out to be a lot more creative and stylish than I expected. Unlike a lot of other kids' movies with CGI leads (Yogi Bear, The Chipmunks, etc.) it's nice to see a kids' movie that has a good story and doesn't rely on forced slapstick humor, in your face fart jokes or pop cultural references that will be dated in two years.
